This program is designed for students requiring short-term behavior stabilization in a more controlled environment. They may be awaiting an out of district placement and receiving homebound instruction, or they may require more short-term support in order to transition back into the public school setting. The objective is to equip students with the necessary skills to facilitate reintegration into a school setting.
We do this by determining the functions of behavior and implementing behavior-analytic interventions to reduce interfering behaviors and teach functionally alternative behaviors that are more acceptable in a classroom. We provide an individualized program with full-day RBT support, supervised by a BCBA, to assist students in achieving behavioral and academic goals. We are able to implement current IEP goals by providing home instruction by NJ certified teachers at the center. Outside providers such as SLP, PT, and OT can also come to the center to provide related services in conjunction with ABA support.
This program requires funding from the sending School District.
The Stabilization Program is currently only available in our Cherry Hill and West Deptford Treatment Centers in New Jersey.
