Our Limerick, PA Treatment Center will be offering Center-Based Social Instruction, or CBSI, program starting in October 29th. The program will be available on Tuesdays for children ages 4 to 11 and Wednesdays for ages 11 to 18; 1.5 hours sessions between 4pm and 6pm.

CBSI is a program developed for school age clients, between the ages of 4 to 18, to target direct instruction in social skills and emotional regulation and to provide opportunities for generalization of these skills to similar-aged peers.

The program uses the Social Skills Checklist, Socially Savvy curriculum, and/or the AIM curriculum to assess progress on goals. Here, clients can attend the center for 1 session per week and work one on one with a technician. 

Some of these one on one activities may include instructions, partner play or small group activities. 

Previously, this program had only been available in our Exton, PA and Woodbury, NJ Treatment Centers. 

CBSI Program is open for kids who have graduated out of our EIBI Program.
