The 7th Annual Eagles Autism Challenge was held Saturday, May 18th and Behavior Interventions had the opportunity to participate in the fundraising event.
According to BCBA, Heidi Deabler, who acted as BII’s Team Captain, six team members along with their families participated in the event, bringing Team Behavior Interventions to a total of 20 participants.
“I think it’s amazing to see BII out in our local community and city promoting awareness and action for those with Autism along with such an amazing organization of the Eagles Autism Foundation”, she continued.
The role that Heidi Deabler held was important in promoting the event within the company in conjunction with the Wellness Committee, answering questions and providing fundraising tips to our staff. She was also responsible for gathering all the team’s jerseys and participation bags on the day of the event.
“Participating in the Eagles Autism Walk gives me great pride for our team. They are going the extra mile to improve the resources available to families and they had a great time doing it!”, said Jerome Bibelheimer, CEO of Behavior Interventions.
Behavior Interventions CEO considers that the Eagles Autism Walk is giving the autism community the attention needed to support BII’s efforts in advocacy for better support services and research.
Team Behavior Interventions completed the 5K Walk/Run for the fundraiser and were able to meet the Eagles players. “At Behavior Interventions, we believe in this mission and are excited to be a part of this event”, he concluded.
