How long have you worked at Behavior Interventions?  How long have you been in this role?

I have worked at Behavior Interventions for a year in the Program Director role for the entirety of my time with BII.

What initially drew you to Behavior Interventions and what keeps you feeling excited about the company and your position? 

I was initially drawn to Behavior Interventions because of the focus on client-centered, assent focused programming, the in house CEU opportunities, and the ability to grow with the company. I continue to feel excited about the company and the position because I am passionate about training/mentoring BCBAs and helping them to grow with assessments, clinical decision making, and training technicians. I love the in house CEUs and BCBA/PD days where leadership has the opportunity to come together and problem solve together, network, and continue to grow our skillsets.

What are the specific services your treatment center offers?

At Mount Joy, we offer EIBI center-based services, as well as services in home, school, and community. We are really excited about continuing to grow our program with CBSI in the near future!

What is something exciting that’s happening at your treatment center?

One thing that our team really enjoys is the themed months that we create. We love ensuring that our learners are gaining the needed skills to be successful outside of the center and part of that is providing the opportunities for them to engage in games with peers, circle time with a leader and a group, and working on transitions, work tasks, and group activities. These activities are aligned with the monthly themes which keeps our learners engaged and having fun while learning.

Is your treatment center currently hiring? Which positions are currently open?

We are hiring! Specifically, we are looking for Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg based BCBAs and technicians and a York BCBA.
