Our Exton location provides evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and individualized programs designed to help children with autism develop meaningful skills for success at home, in school, and within the community.

In this featured Q&A, we highlight Daniel Albrand, Assistant Program Director in Exton, PA, as he shares insight into our services, specialized programs, and what makes Behavior Interventions a trusted partner for families throughout the local community.

How long have you worked at Behavior Interventions?  How long have you been in this role?

I have worked at Behavior Interventions for seven and a half years, initially joining the company as a newly certified BCBA. Thanks to excellent guidance, training, and supervision I received, I was elevated to Senior Behavior Analyst after my first three years. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Program Director at our Exton treatment center, a role I have proudly held for the past three years.

What initially drew you to Behavior Interventions and what keeps you feeling excited about the company and your position?

I originally heard about Behavior Interventions through a current employee who highly recommended it. What really sold me was finding out it’s a BCBA owned company. It makes such a huge difference knowing the people running things actually get the science and understand the day-to-day realities of our work. As for what keeps me excited to be here, I just love that there’s always room to learn and grow. Whether I’m picking up new clinical skills as a BCBA or developing as a  Supervisor/Mentor to help guide others, there’s always something to keep me motivated and moving forward.

What are the specific services your treatment center offers?

Our treatment center offers a comprehensive collection of services designed to support the diverse developmental needs of our clients. Among our core offerings is Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), which provides highly individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services specifically tailored for young children ages two to six. As clients grow and develop, they can also benefit from our Center-Based Social Instruction (CBSI), a dynamic program that places a strong emphasis on building vital social skills and targeting those skills for successful generalization across different, real-world environments. To ensure consistent progress during time away from the classroom, we provide Structured Summer Sessions, where individualized ABA goals are actively targeted during extended school breaks, giving clients the valuable opportunity to attend and practice these skills alongside similar-aged peers. Finally, to round out our personalized approach, we offer dedicated individual sessions that are entirely focused on client-specific needs, ensuring that every person receives the precise, customized support required to reach their highest potential.

What is something exciting that’s happening at your treatment center?

One of the most exciting developments currently happening at our treatment center is the major expansion and transformation of our outdoor space. To ensure a safe and engaging environment for everyone, we have recently added a large perimeter fence, a brand-new sandbox, and, most notably, an impressive 14-foot water table, along with a variety of other fun games and outdoor activities. These wonderful new upgrades are going to come in incredibly handy as we prepare to welcome our largest group yet for our Structured Summer Sessions during the upcoming school break!
