How long have you been with Behavior Interventions in Cherry Hill, NJ?

I’ve worked at Behavior Interventions for 10 years, starting as a BCBA before becoming a supervisor. For the past three years, I’ve served as the Clinical Program Director at our Cherry Hill, NJ location.

What initially drew you to Behavior Interventions and what keeps you feeling excited about the company and your position?

I was originally researching different agencies to work for, and saw the job opening online. When I called the office, instead of getting an answering service or voicemail, Jerome Bibelheimer (Behavior Interventions CEO) answered the phone himself and answered my questions about the position. This is what initially drew me to Behavior Interventions.

In my interview, Jerome and the leadership team expressed that they were creating an agency that they would like to work for. It was valuable to me that the owners, who were BCBA’s, showed an invested interest in the BCBA’s and the clients they served. The decisions that have been made over the 10 years I’ve worked at Behavior Interventions have always focused on quality of services and best practice. The leadership is not afraid to make a change if it will positively impact the clients they serve. That is what still makes me excited to be a part of Behavior Interventions.

What are the specific autism support services offered at the Cherry Hill, NJ treatment center?

We offer BCBA and technician services in the school, home, and treatment center setting. In the center specifically, we offer EIBI for preschool aged children and CBSI for school aged children. We also offer a unique stabilization program at the center that includes treatment for severe behaviors and homebound instruction for students who are temporarily out of school and waiting for a placement.

Do you have any exciting programs or updates to share about your Cherry Hill, NJ center?

This year, we’re most excited to grow our stabilization program. Several members of our Cherry Hill, NJ team are dually certified teachers and BCBA’s, and this program meets the needs of our clients both educationally and behaviorally in order to set them up for future success.

We are currently working on partnering with school districts in order to provide this needed services to clients who are not currently attending school.

Is Behavior Interventions Cherry Hill currently hiring?

Yes, we are currently hiring BCBA’s now in New Jersey. We have openings in both Southern NJ (Camden and Burlington County) and Central NJ (Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean County). Caseloads are primarily in-home during after school hours. We are also hiring behavior technicians in New Jersey, both full time and part positions, for the home and school setting.
